"There is a murder on the dancefloor", the song by Sophie Ellis Bextor (* 1979) "Murder on the dancefloor" from her debut album "Read my lips" (2001) brought her international breakthrough. Four albums and numerous performances followed. Sophie Ellis-Bextor was born in London on 10 April 1979. She is a British singer, songwriter and occasional model best known for her pop and dance music. Ellis-Bextor began her musical career in the late 1990s as a member of the indie rock band Theaudience before establishing herself as a solo artist.

Other well-known singles by her include "Take Me Home", "Get Over You" and "Catch You". Over the course of her career, she released a total of six studio albums, including "Shoot from the Hip" (2003), "Trip the Light Fantastic" (2007) and "Wanderlust" (2014).

In addition to her musical career, Ellis-Bextor also took part in the BBC dance show "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2013, where she came fourth. Over the years, she has gained a reputation for her glamorous performances and distinctive vocal style, and continues to be a successful and influential artist on the pop and dance music scene.

Heiner Lauterbach (*1953) is one of the established German actors. He became known through the film" Männer" by Doris Dörrie, for which he received a Bambi in the category "best actor" in 1997. Born in Cologne, he is also a dubbing artist and frequently appears in series.
