As a singing and dancing club singer in a nun's costume, Whoopie Goldberg (* 13.11.1955) provided a lot of fun. The success of the film led to a sequel. In 2010, the musical "Sister Act -the Musical" was performed. Goldberg's other successes are "Ghost Message from Sam", for which she received an Oscar for the role of best supporting actress, and "The Colour Purple" by Steven Spielberg.

Fellow actor Gerard Butler (*13.11.1969) had studied law before his career, but because of an alcohol problem he was unable to continue on this path. He came to acting when he was discovered in a café. Today he stars in numerous films alongside other Hollywood greats.
