He is the nephew of director Francis Ford Coppola and has chosen a stage name for his career. His breakthrough came in 1995 with the lead role in "Leaving Las Vegas," for which he won the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Throughout his career, Nicholas Cage has appeared in numerous successful films, including "The Rock," "Face/Off," "National Treasure," and "City of Angels." He is also a voice actor and producer.
