Nicholas Cage is an American actor and Academy Award winner. He was born on 7 January 1964 in Long Beach, California. He is the nephew of director Francis Ford Coppola and has chosen a stage name for his career. He began his career in the 1980s and soon became known for his roles in films such as Vampire's Kiss and Wild at Heart. His breakthrough came in 1995 with the lead role in "Leaving Las Vegas," for which he won the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Throughout his career, Nicholas Cage has appeared in numerous successful films, including "The Rock," "Face/Off," "National Treasure," and "City of Angels." He is also a voice actor and producer.
